I am a newly recruited member of the EEAST Community First Responder team covering Kesgrave, Suffolk and surrounding areas whereby we now have 4 active CFR’s. However, we currently only have 1 Response Kit which is shared between all of the CFRs and an old Nokia mobile phone to receive our jobs from EOC (Control Room).

Our team is due to increase in the near future and we as a team are looking to raise funds to allow us to purchase more lifesaving kits to assist with emergency care in our communities.

The funds raised will assist the CFR team to buy new kit bags, defibrillators and NMA’s which are the devices used by our responders to receive calls through to them from the EEAST Control Room.

Any pennies will assist in this fantastic cause and will allow more of our responders to be available for deployment to urgent 999 calls!
