Keswick Mountain Rescue is a group of volunteer search and rescuers who are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to aid people who have found themselves in difficulty in the mountains. They cover a wide area of the Lake District including Borrowdale, the Helvellyn Range, and the Skiddaw peaks. Volunteers regularly risk their lives in all sorts of weather and temperatures to save the lives of others. So far in 2025 alone they have attended 117 rescues, totalling 4,682 man hours. If that doesn't deserve our support, we don't know what does!
