I'm doing the following bike rides for Alzheimers Research UK:

- The New Forest Classic 11th April 127km

- The MizMal Wild Atlantic Cycle (the length of Ireland) 15th-22nd August 925km

- The New Forest Tour 19th September 162km

Total around 1,200km

Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimers and vascular dementia a couple of years ago. These rides are for her and for all people suffering with this terrible disease. It's also for my dad - mum's main carer. The effects of dementia are felt throughout the family.

Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
