Kev Garfield, Richard Crook and Brian Jukes are running the Great North Run on the 7th of September and have decided to raise money for MIND in Northamptonshire.

This running group began as a way to support Richard, during the loss of his twin brother aged 45 in 2023, but it quickly became something much more. Through shared effort, we’ve built strength and a real connection.

We are currently focused on providing support to others by collaborating with MIND in Northamptonshire. We are raising funds to offer the necessary assistance to individuals in need of support. We have gathered local businesses to sponsor us for the upcoming run. The funds we raise for Northamptonshire MIND we will have a say how the money is utilized and allocated within the organisation. This collaboration between the community and businesses enables MIND in Northamptonshire to continue its valuable work and support services.
