My daughter Isabel had life saving open heart surgery when she was 4 months old, she’s now 11 years old. Isabel was born with multiple heart defects and sometime in the future she will need another operation to help prolong her life. Isabel’s currently fit and healthy and is doing really well.

This year I’m taking part in the Sheffield half marathon this will be my 5th half marathon. I’m also taking on a 150 mile bike ride to support the charity in the amazing work they do supporting Leeds Congenital Heart Unit.
