John and Kev share a long-standing friendship, having both served together in the Royal Air Force in Sardinia during the 1990s. Earlier this year, while on a cycling trip to Italy, they discussed the prospect of completing a coastal bicycle circuit around Sardinia, which ultimately led to the planning of this challenge. The objective is to undertake a bikepacking journey along Sardinia’s coastline, utilising campsites, and beginning and ending at their former base in Decimomannu. The route will cover approximately 1,000 kilometres and involve over 10,000 metres of elevation gain within one week.

We hope our journey inspires you not only to support this cause, but also to take time for regular health checks and conversations with loved ones. Every kilometre we ride is dedicated to those fighting, those we've lost, and everyone touched by prostate cancer. We’ll be sharing our progress along the way, and your encouragement—whether in words, donations, or simply spreading the message. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
