Story
My lovely mother-in-law Joy has resided in a local care home for nearly two years after being struck down by the devastating Dementia disease.
Tomorrow, come rain or shine, I'm undertaking a cycle ride around ten Peterborough villages in aid of the Alzheimer's Society and hopefully beating Britain's biggest killer disease.
I've set a £1,000 funds target - a tad on the ambitious side, I fear - but, to be honest, I'll be happy to present the Alzheimer's Society with whatever my family and friends are able to contribute. Every little helps.
