For the millions of young people facing poverty, disability, long-term illness and other challenges, these moments are rare.

The YHA have a tremendous network of Hostels throughout England and Wales and are perfect setting to provide a holiday of a lifetime to deserving children and youths. These hostels also provide a perfect fund raising platform for the No Child Left Behind appeal. The TreyarnonMusic weekend is an attempt to demostrate that not only can people come together to enjoy a weekend of music and entertainemnt, it can provide useful additional income for the Hostel, utilisng what otherwise would be redundent out of season capacity.

You are welcome to join us on February 8th when the jazz combo Melange will be performing at the Treyarnon Youth Hostel, near Padstow PL28 8JR from 20;00. Alternatively by supporting us with various other fund raising projects planned throughout the year.

If successful it is hoped that the same model could be used for other Youth Hostels throughout the network.
