In memory of Aunty Carmel Taylor, Granny Margaret Pelham and Casuals Derek Hunter

Camino Way Frances - 780km / 485 mile trek (18th April to 2nd June 2025) · 18 April 2025

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

In memory of our super fun Aunty Carmel Taylor, our superb next door neighbor Granny Margaret Pelham and our good friend and mentor Derek Hunter (Nottingham Casuals forever) - all three heartbreakingly passing away in the last three months due to Alzheimer's' or Vascular Dementia, and to everyone impacted upon or affected by this awful condition / disease.

The Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives something we would love to support - they do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
