Kevin and Chris's fundraiser for LOROS, the Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice

Leicestershire Round Bike Ride · 7 September 2024 ·
My eldest son, Chris, and I are joining the 100 mile round Leicestershire bike ride in aid of LOROS (Leicestershire Organisation for the Relief of Suffering) on September 7th.
I started cycling when I retired 5 years ago and have been building up the miles since. Chris has completed long charity bike rides before and is a competitive indoor rower (so very fit). Thus I hope he will be able to drag me round the circuit. I completed an 80 mile charity ride last year so I am confident we can complete the circuit.
Our aim is to beat the £500 I managed to collect for a mental health research unit. We hope you feel you can donate to this cause. Any amount no matter how small will make a difference.
Thank you
Kevin & Chris.
LOROS depends on charitable donations to provide their services and as none of us know when we or a family member might need to call access respite/end of life care this is clearly a worthy cause.
