Running the 2026 Manchester Marathon for Alder Hey’s Snowdrop Suite — In Loving Memory of my Grandson Harvey William Connor.

On 12th August 2024 our family was devastated by the sudden and tragic loss of my precious grandson. His life was full of light, love, and promise — and losing him has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

To honour his memory, I will be running the Manchester Marathon in 2026, raising funds for the Snowdrop Suite at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital — a place that gave us care, compassion, and dignity in our darkest moments.

The Snowdrop Suite is a private, dedicated space for families who have lost a child. It provides the time, privacy, and support needed to say goodbye, surrounded by love. It's something no family ever wants to need, but I will always be thankful it was there when we did.

Every mile I run will be for Harvey , and every donation will help Alder Hey support other families facing unthinkable loss.
