Walking the Camino de Santiago for Motor Neurone Disease
A couple of years ago, I walked the Camino de Santiago, an unforgettable journey of reflection, challenge, and personal growth. This year, I’m walking it again—but this time, with a greater purpose.
Over six days, I’ll be covering 115 km along this ancient pilgrimage route to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a cruel and devastating illness. This cause is deeply personal to me, as my son-in-law’s mum sadly lost her battle with MND. I’ve seen firsthand the impact this disease has—not just on those diagnosed but on their families, who watch their loved ones fade before their eyes.
There is still no cure for MND, and research is urgently needed to change that. Every step I take on this journey will be for those who can no longer walk, speak, or even breathe on their own. If you can, please donate—no matter how big or small—so we can bring hope to those living with MND and move closer to a world free from this disease.
Thank you for your support.
