Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After feeling very tired and unwell for a few weeks at the end of last year I was given the awful news that I had stage 2 head and neck cancer. I'm doing fine, responding well to the treatment and so far everything is going to plan. I'm having radiotherapy and chemotherapy and i've been travelling daily to Cheltenham as the Hereford Macmillan Renton Unit only has one radiotherapy and scanning machine which was broken.

I am amongst several other patients who had to make that daily journey.I was told due to the radiotherapy that my facial hair will fall out. No big deal, but if you met me after the age of 16 then you will never have seen me without a moustache. My tashe is part of me, but it looks like I'm going to lose it short term. After thinking about this I decided to try and turn it into something positive. I'll shave it all completely off and try to raise money for a second radiotherapy and scanning machine in Hereford. This would benefit so many people as it's quite a trek having to go to Cheltenham every day.

So... i'm going to do a fundraiser for this purpose, and on Wednesday 1st March I will shave what remains of my beard and moustache completely off. If you would like to see me all clean shaven then please donate to this cause. I will make sure everyone who does gets to see a few pics and even a video of me taking it off. Let's kick cancer out and help start raising money for that second machine
