Kez Worden is raising money for The Noah Jordan Foundation
In memory of Noah Jordan

Three Peaks Challenge · 12 June 2026

As part of our children’s legacy, we are raising £100,000 to fund a second three year PhD dedicated to research into POLG mitochondrial disease. Please donate or take on a challenge in their memory to bring hope to children in the future.

Story

Here we go again! In October, I trekked to Everest Base Camp and thanks to lots of generous donations was able to raise a great amount of money for this incredible charity. It is a charity close to my heart, due to being so very fond of Noah’s wonderful family and the awe-inspiring work they are doing in face of their unimaginable loss. So in June this year, I will be embarking on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise more money for this amazing cause.

The Noah Jordan Foundation is raising £100,000 to fund a second three year PhD researching POLG mitochondrial disease, a cruel condition affecting children’s brains and livers for which there is currently no treatment or cure.

Thanks to your incredible support, TNJF has already funded its first PhD, established in memory of Noah and other children lost to this disease, which is now underway at Newcastle University investigating the impact on the brain.

This next PhD will focus on understanding why POLG mitochondrial disease attacks the liver, often the first sign of the condition, with the aim of unlocking earlier diagnosis, potential treatments, and, one day, a cure.

Every donation to TNJF brings hope to families facing this disease, accelerates vital research, and continues Noah’s legacy, helping to protect future children from the heartbreak of POLG.

Further information about Noah’s story and TNJF's mission can be found on our campaign page, website, and social media channels.
