Story
We are inviting the KGS community to take part in The 75 Mile Challenge, where we will be encouraging our pupils, families and friends to embark on a sponsored 75 mile activity of their choice (run, cycle, row, cycle, skip etc.) to fundraise for the Kingston Hospital Charity, to mark the NHS and Kingston Hospital's 75th birthday. What better way to celebrate the our local hospital and all it's work over the past 75 years, than to get moving this summer!
Pupils will have the opportunity to complete their selected challenge in groups, teams or forms in school over the month of May. More details will be given during form time.
Parents and families can join us for a fun run in Bushy Park on Saturday 20th May where our collective efforts will hopefully surpass the 75 mile challenge. A form will be sent out to sign up, however you are also welcome to just come along on the day and look out for the KGS flag at the starting line!
We will also be facilitating our local schools and wider community meet their goals, by hosting a fun run at Ditton Fields on Thursday 18th May where are inviting up to 500 primary school children to get moving and have fun.
Kingston Hospital Charity have helped drive innovation and success at Kingston Hospital. Our support will help advancements in technology and care at Kingston Hospital, and improve the lives of our community.
