Story
As a Vietnamese-American-UK-transplant, I am the product of two refugees who fled a war outside of their control. They were each in their teens when they finally made it to the US, where they have built lives for the last 50 years.
That journey taught me something essential: building a life of dignity requires more than just safety. It requires access to food, health, education, and the chance to work. Too many people around the world are still waiting for those basics.
I'm supporting Concern Worldwide because they work in the world's poorest and most fragile places to transform lives. They respond to emergencies and build long-term change in health, livelihoods, education and gender equality. They understand that lasting change means working alongside communities to build their own futures.
I hope you'll join me in funding Concern Worldwide and supporting people living in extreme poverty as they work towards lives of dignity.
