Deen Reliefs Bangladesh Water Aid Project aims to provide people living in some of the poorest areas in Bangladesh with clean, drinking water. For these people, access to clean water is very difficult, many of whom are drinking impure water from rivers that contain lead and thus increase their chances of suffering from lead-poisoning. This can lead to severe mental and physical developmental abnormalities in children.

Access to clean water has been a major issue in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Water Pump Project hopes to raise funds to build tube-wells in various areas of Bangladesh. Each well goes 460ft deep underground bypassing the lead-fill layer so that clean water can be pumped out. Each well costs £400 pounds to build and can provide for over 30 families. Thousand of lives have been taken due to lead-poisoning and many other health conditions associated with drinking unclean water. Millions of lives more are at risk. Please support this cause.
