Lickey Hills Walk

Kijana Kwanza (Young People First) is a non-denominational grassroots project based in Moshi, Tanzania that helps children and young people access education, vocational learning and life skills training to prepare them for a future without poverty.

Story

My name is Khalil, and I am 10 months old. I’m a smiley baby who enjoys rolling around, clapping and waving. I also enjoy making animal noises especially a lion’s “roar” 🦁 and one of my favourite fruits is 🍌!

I will be taking my parents for a hike around the Lickey Hills as we raise money for Halima Orphanage with Kijana Kwanza. This will be my very first fundraiser and I’m so excited. I really hope we can help lots of babies and kids, just like me, so that they can have a safe place to call home.🏡

Kijana Kwanza means young people first. And I believe in that. It is a charity based in Tanzania near Mount Kilimanjaro. 🏔️ They help young people and families in so many amazing ways. Just 2022 (the year I was born) they helped almost 10,000 people! Please donate towards this incredible cause, together we can make the world a better place ❤️

With all my love & gratitude,

Baby Khalil (+ mumma & papa)
