Story
Emerging as the dust settles after Y2K, three pioneers born from grit and gumption, moulded by the winds of destiny, were bestowed with one mission. With nothing but a humble shitbox, minimal wits and one on one tuition from Ray Mears - we must voyage through the known, struggle to do that which people have for centuries, travel across the land, alone.
As we make our way, one Steppe at a time, leaving only oil spills and critical parts in our wake, we want to leave behind something more lasting, and help look after our wonderful world, so that more fools like us can get lost in weirder and wilder places too.
So we ask you, wonderful people, give a penny, give a pound. Give what you can to us, and we promise to use it for some good.
We discovered an organisation protecting more rainforest than the UN and all other nation states on earth put together - Cool Earth.
The three of us are taking our trusty steed, a 1994 Peugeot 205 Junior, with a mighty 1.1 litre engine, overland from Sussex all the way to Mongolia (hopefully) for the infamous Mongol Rally. We are bringing only our hammocks, our wits and a spare pair of pants.
We will be totally on our own: no help, no safety net, no set route, and no idea what we’re doing. It’s going to be a crazy ride, and somehow, if we make it - we will steam triumphantly across the finish line, turn around, and drive all the way back again.
We may be crazy, we may be cool, but nothing is as cool as making a change, so we are asking for donations to charity. To have a real impact on preserving our world, and the people in it.
Be cool with us.
Thank you and goodnight.
