I am thrilled to share with you that I will be running in the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon as part of United Way of Long Island’s Team Mission United. Through Mission United Long Island’s veterans who bravely served our country can receive critical services like housing support, career training, mental health support and essential resources.

As a lifelong New Yorker, my why stems from supporting the work of Veterans. Veterans have mental and physical toughness, are resilient, have grit, and some have paid the ultimate sacrifice.  Whenever I think of giving up on a goal, I recall that many times the desire to quit is mental. With a positive mindset, you can overcome many obstacles. We all can aspire to be like someone of our Nation's bravest.

Please assist me as a Mission United (United Way) team member as I prepare to run the TCS marathon in support of Long Island veterans and their families. On a personal level, I can speak highly of United Way and their numerous initiatives as a previous United Way scholarship recipient. Your kindness will not go unnoticed.

My goal is to raise $3,500 for this great cause.
