On 14th October 2026, it will mark 5 years since we lost our beloved brother, Khunais Ali.

Not a day goes by that we don’t think of him. Khunais was more than just a brother — he was a light in our lives, someone who brought warmth, laughter, and comfort to everyone around him. His smile, his kindness, and his beautiful soul left a lasting impact on all who had the honour of knowing him.

Losing him at such a young age left a void in everyone's hearts that can never truly be filled. But we hold on to the love he gave, the memories we shared, and the hope that we will be reunited with him again, Insha’Allah.

In honour of Khunais, and as a means of ongoing Sadaqah, we want to create something lasting — something that continues to benefit others long after we are gone.

Insha’Allah, with the will of Allah (SWT), we aim to donate 50 hand pumps in Khunais’s name, via Sadaqah Jariyah Funeral Services.

These hand pumps will be installed in needy and deprived areas across Pakistan, where access to clean and safe water is a daily struggle.

Imagine a mother able to give her children clean water.

Imagine a child no longer having to walk miles just to drink.

Imagine the relief, the Dua (prayers), and the impact this will bring.

Every drop of water that flows will be a continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) for Khunais — a source of reward that never stops.

Each hand pump costs £80, and with a target of 50 hand pumps, we are hoping to raise £4,000.

This is not just a number — it’s 50 opportunities to change lives, 50 ongoing sources of reward, and 50 chances to honour Khunais in the most meaningful way.

We ask Allah (SWT), Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahim (the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate), to:

Accept this effort as Sadaqah Jariyah for Khunais, and make it a means of continuous reward for him until the Day of Judgment.

Expand his grave, fill it with noor (light), and make it from the gardens of Jannah.

Forgive all his shortcomings, elevate his rank, and grant him ease in the Hereafter.

Grant him a place among the righteous, the martyrs, and those closest to Allah.

Grant him the highest rank in Jannat-ul-Firdaws.

Make his meeting with the Prophet SAW one of honour and joy

Grant Sabr (patience) and ease to all those who miss him and love him and reunite us all in Jannah.

Insha’Allah, the pumps will be installed via Sadaqah Jariyah Funeral Services, who provide free burial services across the UK and have also initiated hand pump projects in memory of loved ones.
