📣 Exciting Update: Conquering New Heights for LimbPower! 🏔️

I'm thrilled to share my incredible journey! For the past 22 years i have negotiated life as a right above the knee amputee, refusing to let any obstacle hinder my passion,  spirit of adventure and determination.

Having already tackled challenges like walking the Great Wall of China, trekking the Cuban hills, and exploring parts of the southwest coast, I have proven that some limitations can be overcome with the right support, equipment and mindset. I’ve also scaling peaks like Kilimanjaro and Snowdon, while also cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats, London to Paris, London to Amsterdam and London to Brighton (a bit of a theme).

Now, with a burning desire to make a difference and visit one of the seven wonders of the world, I am finally embarking on their next awe-inspiring adventure: trekking the Inca Trail and reaching the majestic Machu Picchu.

By taking on this incredible challenge, I aim to raise funds £5,000 for the incredible charity that is LimbPower.Despite the weariness that comes with arthritis now affecting my sound knee and foot, I remain steadfast. I passionately believe that showcasing what can be achieved with the right attitude, prosthetics, equipment, and support is more important than ever post COVID and with the current cost of living crisis. I am determined to prove that age is just a number (more to myself than you😘, and that every dream is within reach with unwavering dedication.

The funds I have raised thus far have already made a tangible impact, enabling the creation of over 100 paper resources and children's infographics, alongside 150 information and exercise videos. Additionally, numerous events and workshops have been organised and advice given, engaging with approximately 3,000 people each year. It's no wonder I feel tired at times, but my passion and commitment to help other people like me never wavers.Here's where you come in!
