Story
I have been working in policing for just over 2 years as a frontline response officer. Within this time i've faced many traumatic incidents firsthand, some which stick with me and likely will for the rest of my life.
Day in and day out I see officers put themselves on the frontline to look after the welfare of the public - but who looks after them when the blue lights stop and the stab vest goes in the locker?
Police Care UK are dedicated to being that support for officers, serving or retired. I believe it’s important to raise money for a charity that look after the officers that came before me, those that work beside me and those that have yet to come.
To do this, i’m asking for donations as I run the Bristol Half Marathon on May 10th 2026. These donations would be invaluable to officers like myself, when the weight of all the jobs becomes to heavy.
If you can spare anything, please do. Thankyou.
