Story
On 24th May, my Dad and I will be taking part in the London 2 Brighton Challenge, running 75km / 47 miles from Sutton to Brighton. It will be the furthest that I've ever run / walked, and I hope to run the full distance if my body lets me.
I thought this would also be a good opportunity to raise money for PLANETS Cancer Charity, which helps patients with pancreatic, liver, colorectal, gastric, oesophageal and neuroendocrine cancers. Its charitable activities are focused mainly on funding patient support groups, innovative treatments and research.
PLANETS is particularly important to me because of the support it provided to my cousin Adam and his family after he was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumours. Adam sadly passed away in May 2019, so I am fundraising in his memory to help continue PLANETS' patient support activities and further cancer research.
Thanks so much for donating!
