Story
I’m running the Half Marathon on 12 April 2026 to raise money for breast cancer, a cause that is incredibly personal to me and my family.
My mum was first diagnosed with breast cancer nine years ago, and after treatment she thankfully recovered. Sadly, in August last year she was diagnosed again and has since gone through several rounds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Watching someone you love face this disease not once, but twice, has shown me just how tough and life-changing this journey can be for the people you care about most.
I’m taking on this challenge not only to support my mum, but also to help raise funds for vital research, better treatments, and support services for others going through similar experiences. Every step I run is driven by love, hope, and the wish that fewer families have to face moments like these.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps make a difference and brings us closer to a future where no one has to face breast cancer alone.
Thank you so much for your support, it truly means the world.
