Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Some of you may be aware but on 10th February 2025 we lost a great man and my father in law Vaughan Clements through to throat cancer.
He was a father of 3 to my wife Justine Flanagan, eldest child Grant Clements and Keeley Clements.
In November 2024 Vaughan was diagnosed with throat cancer.
Throat cancer is a truly horrible disease which we all saw first hand, it stopped Vaughan from eating for a number of months and barely able to drink as well as losing his mobility , but never once moaned or complained and showed what a truly strong minded man Vaughan was.
So on Sunday 27th July we will be organising a football match at Wormley football club as part of Memorial Day for Vaughan, I will be getting a team together and playing against a team made up by Vaughan’s son Grant Clements, to win the Vaughan memorial trophy.
There will be food, drink and bouncy castle on the day as well for the family to enjoy.
