A toast to absent friends! it’s that time of year when we often have a drink to the memory of the people we have known and lost. This year, whilst remembering and raising a glass, why don’t we make a small donation to the Charity FAB in their memory?

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I’m hoping to raise money for FAB by completing the “FAB Advent 100 challenge”. This event requires participants to complete 100km of either running or walking throughout advent this year (1st – 25 Dec 24). The last walk/run being done on Christmas day - followed by a toast to absent friends.

All money raised will be used to provide free Family Activity Breaks (FAB) for bereaved military families. FAB camps are a fully-paid week away for bereaved military families; a welcome break to meet and socialse with others who have experienced a similar loss. Whilst at the camp, families have access to grief counselling for emotional support with all families having a dedicated family support volunteer. All donations will be most welcome.
