Trek up Africa's highest mountain on this trip of a lifetime to support survivors of human trafficking building a new life.

Story

In August 2024 we will be walking up Kilimanjaro to raise money for The Snowdrop Project.

Alongside the main walk, we will also be taking on individual challenges to help raise the money. Henry K will be running the Madrid Half Marathon on Sunday the 7th of April.

The Snowdrop Project is a Sheffield-based charity that offers comprehensive, long-term community-based support to survivors in the UK, aiding them in their journey to overcome their past, foster hope for the future, and attain independence.

Their approach focuses on addressing all critical support needs, encompassing independent living, physical and mental well-being, community engagement, education, and employment. The organization achieves this holistic support through their well-structured casework program, built upon social work principles, complemented by their in-house counselling service, and bolstered by their community engagement program.

In the past year, The Snowdrop Project successfully assisted 160 survivors and 85 children in their recovery process. Specialized counselling was provided to 43 survivors, 73 survivors received dedicated casework support, and they also refurbished and renovated 8 houses to further enhance their aid to survivors.

By supporting The Snowdrop Project, you are contributing to their impactful efforts in empowering survivors to rebuild their lives and find strength in their journey toward a brighter future. Your involvement can make a tangible difference in helping survivors regain their independence and reclaim their lives.
