What is the point if you aren't at least TRYING to do something remarkable?

Hi, I'm Dan, a 31 year old father of two, trying to find his direction in life while trying to make someone else's a little better along the way.

I have signed up to the Ultra-Adventures kilimanjaro charity climb and I aim to raise £6000-£10,000 for cancer research over the course of the next 10 months.

Alongside the actual ascent in July 2025, I will be enduring a 37 mile trek once a month, across local Lincolnshire towns, meeting local people, gaining support along the way.

In recognition of the hard work put in by the Porters during our ascent - while I complete the monthly 37 mile trek I will be carrying a weighted bag at 20kg!

Cancer Research UK is an excellent cause, and I am proud to be supporting the fight against this catastrophic disease that has touched most if not all of us in some way.

I hope you will join me in the fundraising for the important work that this charity is doing - I cannot expect this once in a lifetime opportunity to come for free and I will be self sponsoring a minimum of £1000 Along side the purchasing of any kit I need for the ascent.
