Kilimanjaro Summit Hike 2026

Matthew Colligan is raising money for Northern Ireland Children's Hospice

Kilimanjaro Summit Trek in aid of the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice · 22 January 2026

This year at Northern Ireland Children's Hospice we cared for over 370 children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, in both our inpatient unit - Horizon House and in the local community. We rely on your generous donations to continue to fund our vital services.

Story

In January 2026, the four of us — Matthew Colligan, Becky Cherry, Sarah-Louise Maskey, and Adam Ferris — will take on the ultimate challenge: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. But this isn’t just about altitude — it’s about impact.

We are doing this in aid of Northern Ireland Children's Hospice, a place that offers light, care, and comfort in the darkest of times.

Together, through our JustGiving page and year-long cash fundraising efforts, we aim to raise £25,000 for this incredible cause. Every pound will help provide vital care, create precious memories, and offer comfort where it’s needed most.

Climbing Kilimanjaro is a huge personal challenge — but it's nothing compared to the journey these children and families face every single day. We’re doing this for them.

Please help us reach our goal. Donate what you can, share our story, and be part of something powerful.

With love and thanks,

Matthew, Becky, Sarah-Louise & Adam.
