Hi! As many of you know I am a keen albeit amateur mountaineer and hiker. Having done every peak in the UK several times, I am now looking to go further afield and master some of the highest peaks in the world. I am starting with Kilimanjaro which will be totally self funded. In order to give me more of a reason to do this I have decided to fundraiser at the same time. Every penny I raise will go to The Ripple Pond which is a fantastic cause very close to my heart. This wonderful small charity gets no government funding and is often overlooked in favour of the bigger, more well known military charities.

The Ripple Pond is the only UK charity to exist solely to support the adult family members of physically or psychologically injured British Armed Forces personnel and veterans.

Our supportive community and specialist services provide a safe and non-judgemental space within which military carers can connect with one another, to support each other through the many challenges faced by this often-overlooked community.
