Story
Yes, it’s true. Mark’s legs will be making their debut at next year’s FIA IDX Gala Dinner thanks to his brave (some say questionable) acceptance of the legendary Kilt Challenge. In the spirit of putting the “Challenge” in “Kilt Challenge”, Mark has decided to take things up a notch (or 3,064 metres to be exact) by tackling the National Three Peaks Challenge — all to raise money for Futures for Kids!
But he won’t be facing the mountains alone. Joining Mark on this epic climb will be an equally fearless (and possibly equally questionable) squad of volunteers:
Bruce Savage
Cassie Chandler
Edward Monrad
Emma Richardson
Francesca Kennedy
Gary Saunders
Helen Gordon
James Beasley-Suffolk
Jamie Gavin
Justin Hudson
Maylis Dubarry
Nick Rustad
Nick Solinger
Owain Roberts
Phil Hermon
Richard Pape
Robbert Booij
Sylvia Ahaus
Will Patrick
All funds go directly to Futures for Kids. In conjunction with the International Derivatives Expo (IDX), FIA hosts the IDX Gala in aid of Futures for Kids, an organization that raises funds on behalf of the futures and options industry for charities that strive to provide better lives and futures for children and young people internationally. Over the last twelve years, the IDX Gala has raised more than £1.7 million for Futures for Kids, including through the Kilt Challenge.
