If you know Lord Harrison, you’ll know he quite literally never stops moving, so now it’s time to put some of that energy to good use! This year, Harry is taking part in the Mini Great North Run along the Newcastle and Gateshead Quayside, raising money for the Great North Children’s Hospital Foundation, based at the RVI.

The GNCH do amazing things every day, as our family found out earlier this year when Harry’s sister, Ruby, needed minor surgery. We left the hospital with a happy, healthy baby, but not all families are so lucky. Evidence shows that children have a quicker recovery when they’re in an environment they enjoy and the GNCH strives to make the hospital environment as welcoming and friendly as it can be.

Your donations will support the many children and their families who come to the hospital for treatment and care, life changing research, cutting-edge equipment, and initiatives to support the wellbeing and development of the amazing staff.
