This year the three Captains of Bishops Stortford Golf Club , Will, Lynne and Mark are proud to support The Animal Rescue Charity (ARC) , a small registered local charity for abandoned and unwanted animals.

ARC, founded in 1991 has no permanent sponsors and relies entirely on donations, fundraising and legacies to continue its work. The charity costs around £200,000 pa to run and provide daily care for the animals, some with complex needs, who can be difficult to re-home.

Some of the facilities they live in are cramped and in need of improvement, so the funds we raise will go directly towards improving and weather proofing the dog and cat facilities, so they can live in warmer, safer and more comfortable conditions while they wait for their forever homes.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a genuine difference to this much valued, local charity and to the animals it supports .
