The tube challenge (visit every London Underground station)

In low- and middle-income countries fewer than 1 in 10 children with cancer are diagnosed, treated or given pain relief. World Child Cancer improves cancer care for some of the world’s poorest children by creating international twinning partnerships between medics hospitals and parent support groups

Story

Sam, Raphael, Arran and Alex, year 6 classmates and friends at City of London Junior School, have decided to embark on an epic tube journey, stopping at every underground station in London (excluding the DLR, Elizabeth and Overground lines), to raise money for World Child Cancer. The world record is 19 hours straight….however, their parents are trying to convince them to take a few days to complete their journey. Please say hello if you see them on your own commute!

World Child Cancer works to help children with cancer in developing countries – in the UK over 80% of children now survive cancer – in developing countries that can be as low as 10% - but it does not need to be like that. World Child Cancer aims to improve diagnosis, treatment and support for children with cancer, and their families, in the developing world.
