Kim's fundraiser for RNIB - Royal National Institute of Blind People

Kim Jaye is raising money for RNIB - Royal National Institute of Blind People
Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.

Story

Over the years, I have enjoyed over 2000 audiobooks from RNIB’s talking books library service. When I first lost my sight, the fact that I could still enjoy my beloved pastime of reading was a huge lifeline for me. It allowed me to utilise my imagination and took me to places and worlds I was unable to go to, letting me be free of my confines.

For the past few years, I have supported RNIB's talking books library service by raising money through my banquet curry nights as well as raffles. The money I raise with these events will appear here. If you wish to donate here too, I would be very grateful knowing that RNIB would benefit from your kind donation.
