Kim Richards is raising money for Epilepsy Action

Purple Day 2025 · 26 March 2025 ·

Our incredible supporters are coming together for Purple Day on 26 March to fundraise and help create a world without limits for people living with epilepsy. And you can join them!

Story

Hi I'm Freya and I have got childhood absence epilepsy.

I started having absences when I was five. It started off just now and then, but it they soon got up to fifty a day! Sometimes they made me worry because I would do things like fall off my scooter. Once one even made me stroke my hotdog!

The doctors helped me to find medication to control my seizures. Epilepsy can make me feel sad and worried.

I want to raise money for Epilepsy Action because I know how it feels to have epilepsy and I want to help them to help others.

Join me in supporting Epilepsy Action!

626,000 people in the UK are living with epilepsy and 79 people are diagnosed every single day. I'm fundraising for Epilepsy Action this Purple Day to help make sure people with epilepsy continue to get the support they need, when they need it most.

Your contribution will help more people take control of their epilepsy. Whether you donate £5, £50 or £500, every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
