We are fund raising for The Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service in memory of Emma Higgins, who sadly and tragically died on Wednesday 15th January 2025, age 42.

Emma sustained a sudden catastrophic brain haemorrhage, which the emergency services and The Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service responded to on the morning of Monday 13th January 2025. The prompt response of all involved allowed Emma to be transferred to the Northern General Hospital’s Critical Care Unit, allowing her family and friends to spend precious time with her, and say their goodbyes. We are so grateful to have had this time with her, this would not have been possible, had it not been for the amazing emergency services and NHS staff.

Emma was the most beautiful person inside and out and would do absolutely anything for anyone. She leaves behind a loving family, including her husband and 3 amazing children, who she adored more than anything, and her own loving parents. Emma’s loss is difficult to comprehend, we will miss and remember her always for the fun, vibrant and caring person she was.
