Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

After 11 years of trying I finally got a place in the ballot for the London Marathon. I wanted to combine this with raising funds for a charity and have chosen, the Brain Tumour Research charity.

As a family we know only too well the effect a brain tumour can have on someone. My husband’s lovely cousin , Conor, lost his life to a tumour at the age of 43.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
