Story

Hello wonderful people! Thanks for clicking on this link :)

As most of you will know, I work park time for Surrey Heath Age Concern. Our mission at SHAC is to end loneliness for older people in Surrey Heath. We are a very small charity (not part of 'Age Concern' as most people think we are, easy mistake to make!).There's just 5 of us that work part time, our wonderful Chair and Trustees and a whole host of invaluable volunteers.

The work we do is a lifeline for many older adults that live alone so any funds we raise can really make such a difference.

With that in mind our Chairman asked me to jump of a high building and me being said 'yeah, why not!?'. So I'm abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth on Saturday 14th June.

If you can spare any pennies to make this more worthwhile than me just getting trussed up in some ropes (OMG I hope it's more secure than a rope!) then please donate whatever you can. Thank you!

Promise there'll be plenty of photos (I'll either be screaming and crying or dancing - this really could go either way!) xxx
