Mountbatten Hampshire is your local hospice if you live in Southampton or large parts of Hampshire. We are an independent charity providing 24/7 free care and support to people with any life-limiting illness and their loved ones. We also provide free bereavement support to anyone who needs it.

Story

I am fighting to raise money for Mountbatten Hampshire who were amazing with my dad at the end of his life, if it wasn’t for them I don’t know if I’d still be here myself, they were amazing they took all the stress off us as a family. Please share, donate whatever you can. I would love to give them the world and everything they needed but I don’t have the power to do that, but I can raise as much money for them as I can.

Also I know dad would be super proud, your baby’s boxing dad! All for you my angel…love and miss you much ❤️

When patients and families first come to Mountbatten they often say, ‘now we don’t have to worry.’ You can see the relief in their eyes when they realise they will not have to cope with dying or caring and grieving for their loved one alone.

When you donate, your gift will be used to fund:

-24/7 care and support for people at home or in our inpatient unit.

-bereavement support for anyone who needs it.

-rehabilitation & enablement services to help those with life-limiting conditions live as well as they can.

-specialist medical equipment.

They were also brilliant with my grandad and then with my dad, if it wasn’t for Mountbatten I don’t know what me and my family would have done.
