I’m walking the Kiltwalk 2026 for Rainbow Rogues

Kimberley Montgomery is raising money for Rainbow Rogues

Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2026 · 7 June 2026 ·

We’re taking on the Kiltwalk 2026 to raise vital funds for Rainbow Rogues, helping children and families across Aberdeenshire access support, safe spaces, and counselling when they need it most.

Story

When I became a parent 20 years ago, I was just a child myself, and my world felt very lonely. I didn’t have the support I desperately needed as I raised my children, who were later diagnosed with autism and learning difficulties. Back then, there was no charity like Rainbow Rogues to lean on that i was aware of. I struggled through so many hardships, feeling lost and isolated. But now, 20 years later, I’ve found Rainbow Rogues. They are a beacon of hope, providing not only practical support for families with additional needs but also vital counselling for mental health.

I’m walking in the Kilt Walk because I want to give back and help them continue their life-changing work—because no family should ever feel alone in their journey.

I’m taking on the Kiltwalk 2026 to support Rainbow Rogues, a charity helping children and families across Aberdeenshire with additional support needs, disability, and mental health challenges.

So, I’m walking not just for me, but for every family who needs this support, because with your help, they can continue to change lives.

Rainbow Rogues provides safe spaces for children to play, while supporting parents and carers who often feel isolated and overwhelmed.

Every donation will help keep these vital services running and ensure families can access support when they need it most.

If you’re able to donate or share my page, I’d really appreciate it — thank you so much for your support.
