Myself and my husband Gary have decided to take part in the 2023 Manchester Half Marathon in support of The A Team Hub in Leigh. The A Team Hub provides fun activities and support for children with Special Educational Needs and their families.

As most of our friends and family are aware, our Son Oscar is currently awaiting a diagnosis for ASD, and we believe it is so important for SEN children and their families to have such a fantastic support Centre such as the A Team Hub in their town.

This is a completely spontaneous and possibly crazy idea for us to take on this challenge but we’re willing to give it 100% to raise as much as we can for such a brilliant cause.

(If we hit our target we will probably end up wearing some crazy outfit too just for the laughs.)
