Story
This year I’m taking on the Great North Run in support of Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity, a charity very close to my heart!
Back in May 2025, I ran my very first Parkrun and never imagined I’d end up signing myself up for a half marathon. Since then, running has become a huge personal challenge and achievement for me. Also basically my whole personality apparently.
Every day I see the incredible work carried out by staff and volunteers, and the difference the charity makes to patients, families, and colleagues across Yorkshire.
So, I’ve decided to swap the comfort of sitting down for 13.1 miles of questionable life choices, sore legs, and an unreasonable amount of running snacks, all for a great cause.
Any donation, big or small, would mean a huge amount and will help support the amazing work the charity continues to do. Thank you so much for your support 💚
