Welcome to my JustGiving page to raise money for Rochdale Dog Rescue in Molly’s name. Molly passed away on Christmas Eve in 2024 and I’m running London Marathon on Sunday. I have decided to run in Molly’s memory and to raise some money for Rochdale Dog Rescue.

The team at Rochdale Dog Rescue work to prevent dogs at Stray Dog Kennels being put to sleep after 7 days if not reclaimed by their owners. Molly was only a couple of hours from being put to sleep before the wonderful team came to her rescue!

I can’t rescue every dog, so maybe I’ll settle at making sure the dogs at Rochdale Dog Rescue (especially the one that looks like a long version of Molly) have enough squeaky balls until they go to their forever homes.

Molly got to go to her forever home and she went from a dog who was scared of everything to a dog who was still scared of a lot of random things but loved those around her, knew what she liked and knew how to wrap me around her paw.
