Holding On Letting Go supports bereaved children, young people, and their families after the death (or anticipated death) of someone close to them. We help each child "hold on" to precious memories of their loved one, while "letting go" of any painful emotions surrounding their bereavement.

Story

Every year we select a local charity to support and this year our chosen Charity of the Year is Holding On Letting Go.

This is a small local charity that supports children, young people, and their families after the death or anticipated death of someone close to them.

The work they do is phenomenal and we are so proud to be supporting them achieve their aim to help each bereaved young person “Hold On” to the happy memories of their loved one, while “Letting Go” of any painful ones.

So on August 10th 2024, a team of 33 intrepid explorers from across the hospital will be scaling all 3,409ft of Wales' highest mountain to raise as much money as they can to support this amazing charity.

Please help encourage and motivate the team by giving what you can and smashing their fundraising target.

Thank you!
