Throughout the entire month of October, participants will commit to taking steps every day while raising funds for KindWinter's vital cause. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the cause and are encouraged to volunteer in their local communities.
Learn more about KindWinter:
KindWinter, founded in the United Kingdom, is a charitable organization dedicated to supplying essential equipment to help homeless individuals endure harsh winter nights.
We recognize that homeless day centers often struggle with managing random donations that may not meet the specific needs of those sleeping rough. Our unique approach involves collaborating with center directors and homeless individuals to ensure that the items donated precisely target these needs, with a primary focus on providing sleeping bags, a resource rarely donated elsewhere. By streamlining the procurement process at scale and working in partnership with Mountain Warehouse, we secure the best unit prices for these crucial supplies.
KindWinter operates as a B2B service, procuring and delivering items directly to NGOs, empowering them to assess and distribute individualized support to those in need.
KindWinter collects its funds through a Rotary registered charity called The Rotary Club of Westminster International Trust Fund. Learn more: https://www.kindwinter.com/
