Emma Allinson - A Mile a Day!
Back in 2021, I completed the Oxford Half Marathon for our then-charity of the year SeeSaw and since then I haven’t been out to run as much as I would like. I am not a runner; I am very slow and I have been struggling to get myself out of the door for even the shortest run/jog these days so………. I have decided to challenge myself to run every day in July for at least a mile each time for our new charity of the year and for every mile I run I will donate £1 to The Lighthouse Club. I will document my runs and share them here on my JustGiving page so you can see how I am getting on!
The Lighthouse Club is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial well-being support to the construction community and their families. This service is crucial in these current testing times, and we do not know when this service might be needed for ourselves, our colleagues or our families.
