Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to beat muscle-wasting conditions.

Story

A team from Kingham Hill will be taking on the Bidwell's Oxford 10K in aid of the MAP Nemaline fund at Muscular Dystrophy UK on Sunday 11th May.

We have chosen this specific fund in honour of one of our pupil's Meriel, who lives with a rare form of muscular dystrophy. We all use our muscles to walk, to run, to breathe - but for some, the muscles are weak meaning overtime, with the growth of the skeletal frame, everyday tasks become even more challenging. All funds raised from our challenge will fund research into Meriel's rare condition called Nemaline Myopathy.
