King's School Worcester Boat Club - Charity Challenge 2025 for Motor Neurone Disease Association

King's School Worcester Boat Club is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Two Million Metres: One million metres on rowing machines and one million metres on bikes

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

The King's School Worcester Boat Club community has been taking on their Charity Challenge since 2012 and have raised over £60000 for outstanding charities in the local and broader community. This year, the pupils have decided to support another charity close to our hearts. The MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Please get behind our rowers in supporting this cause. They will be rowing one million metres on the indoor rowers alongside cycling one million metres on bikes, starting Friday 12th December and going throughout the night until they finish on Saturday 13th December.

By sponsoring the team your money will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to the MND Association. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure, your details are safe - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails.

Thank you for your support and best wishes from all at KSWBC
